Olay, gece yarısı 01.15 sıralarında Kemalettin Mahallesi Menekşe Sokak üzerinde meydana geldi. 25 yaşındaki İ.C.Ö., iddiaya göre, binanın 5. katından park halindeki bir otomobilin tavanına düştü.

Görenlerin ihbarı üzerine olay yerine ekipler sevk edildi. Ağır yaralanan genç adam, olay yerine gelen sağlık ekiplerinin ilk müdahalesinin ardından ambulansla Çorlu Devlet Hastanesi'ne kaldırılarak tedavi altına alındı. İ.C.Ö.'nün yoğun bakımda tedavisinin devam ettiği öğrenildi.

Yüksekten düşme olayı ile ilgili Cumhuriyet Polis Merkezi Amirliği tarafından inceleme başlatıldı.
