ABD'deki kimya tesisinde patlama! Amonyak sızıntısı paniğe sebep oldu

5 Kasım Çarşamba günü ABD'nin Mississippi eyaletindeki Yazoo City'nin kuzeyinde bulunan CF Industries tesisinde meydana gelen patlama amonyak sızıntısına neden oldu.

Eyalet Valisi Tate Reeves'ın açıklamasına göre; sızıntıya aktif olarak müdahale edildi ve durum kontrol altına alındı.

Patlama ölü veya yaralanma olmadığı bildirildi. Tesis civarında yaşayan halka, tahliye emri verildi.

CF Industries, tüm çalışanların güvenli bir şekilde kurtarıldığını açıkladı. Ayrıca yetkililer, "hava izleme operasyonlarının süreceğini ve kamu güvenliği için gerekli olduğu sürece de devam edeceğini" duyurdu.

Tesisin 48 bin ton amonyak depolayabildiği tahmin ediliyor.
